    Brian McGrath

    Brian was born and raised in the Rocky Mountains of Western Montana in the USA. A lifelong passion for fitness and martial arts led Brian to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance along with a minor in Japanese at the University of Montana. Brian has experience competing in varsity high school wrestling, Tae Kwon Do, Brazilian Jujitsu, boxing, professional kickboxing, professional Muay Thai, and natural bodybuilding. He holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Doand a blue belt in Brazilian Jujitsu. As a professional fighter, in addition to competing in the first K-1 World GP Cruiserweight Championship Tournament, he has also claimed titles as the former Triblelate Cruiserweight Kickboxing Champion, former J-NET Light Heavyweight Champion, current WPMF Japan Light Heavyweight Champion, and current WMC Intercontinental Light Heavyweight Champion. On top of coaching, training, and competing, he continues to expand his martial arts knowledge by doing fight commentary for K-1.
