Exercise of the Month - Open Chain Pelvic tilts

This is a great one to target the lower part of the abdominals, where a lot of people struggle to feel a contraction, and is also great for progressing motor control work around the pelvis.

Disclaimer, people with extension-sensitive spinal pain (pain in the back with arching movements/sitting/standing/walking) will need to be careful with this one, as it starts in a position of extension.


Start doing this unloaded and if you find it easy to get sets of 12-15 reps out, then add some weight over the knees.
